We could not be more excited to announce that we are returning the Virgin Hotel Chicago for our second annual Stitch Up Chicago. A place and time for makers to come together, learn and create and share inspiration. This year we have gone all out to really kick things up a notch.

NEW PRE-GAME EVENT JUST ADDED!!!!

We are so excited to announce that we will be returning to Nina's Chicago for afternoon tea and shopping for some Stitch Up Chicago pre-game fun on Friday February 23rd from 1-4pm. Join us for shopping, snack and a casual knit / crochet hang. And enjoy a special shopping discount as a Stitch Up Chicago attendee.

We kick things off with a Friday Knit Knit featuring WOOL AND THE GANG Happy Daze Beanie. Snacks, laughs and yarn. Sounds like a perfect evening, doesn't it? We will also serve up a super yummy dinner. This kit pattern includes three techniques, so you can choose to make it in garter stitch, moss stitch or give twisted rib a try. Don't know how to knit? This hat is PERFECT for beginners and we will have experienced knitters on hand to show you all you need to have a fiber fun night! No telling where the night may take you. Last year our knit crew shut the lounge at the Virgin down!

Saturday morning we start the day with a healthy delicious brunch and featuring the BETTA KNIT Adela Shawl. I LOVE THIS SHAWL! I am so excited for us to work on this kit. No matter what level knitter you are, or even if this is your first time knitting EVER, I hope you join us for this fun and exciting project. This shawl works up quickly and will be your perfect "I made that" item!

Don't know how to knit? This project is PERFECT for beginners and we will have experienced knitters on hand to show you all you need to have a a great start to making your Adela Shawl!

Saturday afternoon we will have a variety of workshops and opportunities to grow in your maker life and close things off . Led by industry experts and professionals, we will cover such topics as:

Photography Tips, Lighting Tricks & Product Styling Basics

And we will be closing things off with a BANG! and I mean a Yarn Bomb Bang with a yarn bomb party and workshop from 4-7pm hosted by the queen of yarn bombing, Miss London Kaye and sponsored by Lion Brand.
