Stitch Up Chicago runs over two days. Friday April 5th & Saturday April 6th. This year there will be add on events Sunday April 7th for a 3rd day of Fiber Fun with add on classes!

While we encourage you to attend all days for the full event experience, NO you are not required to attend all days.
And, While the All-In Weekend Package is the best value you can get tickets to each specific dayvent activity during regular registration. -
Stitch Up Chicago Begins Friday at 5pm and ends Saturday at 8pm. Each activity occurs throughout the event at various times.
The afternoon Kick Off Tea & Shopping at Nina Chicago on Friday is from 1-4pm.

No. The activities on Sunday April 7th are add ons.
There are 2 Classes with Patty Lyons at Nina Chicago. There is a charge for each class. You can sign up at Nina ChicagoThe Book Signing and Asylum Fibers pop up shop are free to attend

Stitch Up Chicago takes place in Chicago, Illinois USA.
We kick off with exclusive discounted shopping at our host LYS Nina Chicago then all event activities are at the event hotel. -
Your registration does not include accommodations. BUT… if you are attending Stitch Up Chicago, you can get a room at our special discounted rate here
If Rooms present unavailable - we may be able to get rooms added. Check the Ravelry event thread or contact us by email -
All event activities are on site at our event location - the Aloft Hotel
The kick off tea & Shopping and Sunday after party activities are hosted at Nina Chicago Yarn Shop

YES! Each event has either a full meal or snack and all are provided and included in your ticket. There is also a cash bar as only soft drinks, tea and coffee are provided with meals.

Prior to the event, once you are registered you will get an Attendee Form to fill out to notify us of any dietary restrictions. You can also email us here.

NO!!! Each year I am amazed and impressed by those who have never held knitting needles or a crochet hook and join us to learn and fall in love with fiber. We have experienced teachers on hand as well as community members there to help you get started on your fiber path. Truly if you want to learn, you are welcome to join us!

NO! While much of the event features knitting, we have a full crochet workshop Saturday and skilled crochet instructors and community members all weekend.

NO! We work hard to make sure that while we have a feature of crochet activities, all techniques and mediums are welcome and included. We have skilled knitting and crochet instructors and community members all weekend.

Nope! The beauty of Stitch Up Events is that EVERYTHING is provided for you! Truly all the yarn, all the hooks, all the needles. All you have to do is show up and be ready to have a good time!

Unfortunately due to capacity we cannot take walk-ins and you must register in advance.

This is an exclusive event for Stitch Up Chicago attendees. It is included with the ALL IN packages. Otherwise there is a $5 fee to help offset costs of catering and staffing for the event.

Each workshop INCLUDES all materials for THAT workshop but there is only one swag bag per attendee for the event.
