Classes take place at Nina Chicago Sunday April 7 at 2pm
SPACE IS LIMITED
You've mastered the basics of Brioche, but you want more. Time to learn increases and decreases so you're ready to make all those stunning patterns! In this workshop, you will learn all your basic increases and decreases done traditionally as well as Patty's unvented, unwrapped versions. We will work with both word and charts so we really understand what is happening on our fabric. We will even learn how to create the stitches instinctually (that's right - without reading the definition every time!). By the end of class, you'll be ready to take on all those stunning Brioche patterns. Want to learn more? Everyone in class will get a discount code to Patty's video class that works through four Brioche patterns.

About Patty:
Patty Lyons (https://pattylyons.com/) is a nationally recognized knitting teacher and technique expert who is known for teaching the “why” not just the “how” in her pursuit of training the “mindful knitter”. She specializes in sweater design and sharing her love of the much-maligned subjects of gauge and blocking.
Patty teaches nationally at guilds, shops & knitting shows around the country as well as hosting her own retreats. Her popular classes can also be found on DVD as well as online, through her website education.pattylyons.com.
Patty designs and knitting skill articles have been published in Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits, Knit Purl, Knitter’s Magazine, Cast On, Knit Style, Creative Knitting, and Twist Collective. Patty also is a regular contributor to Modern Daily Knitting where she writes a knitter’s advice column: “Ask Patty.” Patty’s designs have also been included in pattern collections from Classic Elite, Noro, Cascade, Tahki Stacy Charles, Sugar Bush and Willow Yarns.
Patty has been a repeat guest on PBS’s Knitting Daily TV and featured as a subject-matter expert in publications including the Wall Street Journal. She’s even made a nemesis (all in good fun) out of popular late night host, Seth Meyers—of Late Night with Seth Meyers—on whose popular “Corrections” web series she’s appeared.
Patty is the author of the best-selling book: Patty Lyons’ Knitting Bag of Tricks.
